Karma Kagyu Lineage

The Kagyu Lineage is an unbroken line of oral transmissions from teacher to student for several hundred years. The present head of the Karma Kagyu tradition is H.H. 17th Gyalwa Karmapa Ogyen Trinley Dorje. Many great teachers form part of the Lineage. This lineage from Tilopa to Naropa all the way down was transmitted to Ven. Kyabje Lama Chime Rinpoche via is uncle the 9th Sangye Nyenpa Rinpoche and the 16th Karmapa.

Nyingma Linege

The Nyingma linage starts back with Padmasambhava who was responsible for taking the Buddhist teachings from India to Tibet throughout the centuries these teachings have been preserved and practiced by many great teachers. Shechen one of the six main monestries was founded in 1735 by the second Shechen Rabjam Rinpoche. Ven. Kyabje Lama Chime Rinpoche recived the full cycle of teachings from Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche and Khenpo Gangshar Wangpo
